Fishing

The Danube branch of Ráckeve is one of the country's most popular fishing areas. Thousands of fishermen come here to fish with a big hope of catching
the biggest one.

The branch of Danube handler is the branch of Danube Association of Ráckeve. They put a huge amount of fish into the Danube every year. (Last year they put 270 tons just from carps).

Boating

The Danube branch of Ráckeve with its regulated water is like a lake. It’s a great pleasure to sail on it.

At its two ends it locked with floodgates and you can sail in and out through them.

Car racing

On the racing course there are professional and amateur competitions.

The course is rentable so do the cars.

Go-kart ground

A freshly made 530m long go-kart ground invites go-kart lovers for a drive.

Bird watching

The Danube branch of Ráckeve (Soroksár) has significant values zoology, botany or point of landscape in Europe. The nature-lovers must roam the dead channel even on foot, by boat or by bike.

Horseriding Farms

Apaj is just 9 kilometres from Dömsöd. It has a great tradition about horses. No wonder Dömsöd’s many stables offer you their services from the absolutely beginners through the trained riders to the professional jumping. The professional jumping is the main attraction every year on Dömsöd’s days.

Bike tours in the countryside

There are roads on the both side of the Danube branch of Ráckeve with a little traffic. It means you are able to go along the riverside under the shady trees about 50 kilometres. During your trip there are many restaurant, buffet and picnic areas.
